I was born at my mother’s house in Thattamkonam
in Vellicode in Kanyakumari District in India to Mr. T. Vyakappan and Mrs.Viagulamarial on 15 January 1949.
My father named me Savarimuthu, after his grandfather.
Earlier, he had named his first son, Dharmanathan, after the name of his father.
My mother's house was just 75 metre away from my father's house.
